Wills writing at a distance during the Coronavirus
Click here to request a callback or call 01706 824 811. Our service involves yourself signing the Will in eyesight of two witnesses through a window. The two witnesses remain 2 meters apart from each other outside of the home at all times. The Will is passed back to the witnesses who then sign using their own pens wearing disposable gloves.
Remaining compliant to ensure Wills are valid
With a significant increase in the demand for Wills, inheritance tax planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney during this current climate, we are offering this service at a discounted charge.
We are also ensuring we remain compliant and that all Wills are valid whilst still following social distancing rules.
There have been calls for the Government to make writing Wills easier during the Covid-19 crisis and the Ministry of Justice could temporarily relax rules on two witnesses being present.
In the mean time we aim to continue to provide this very important legal service.
DID YOU KNOW?
If you don’t have a will when you die, your money, property and possessions will be shared out according to the law instead of your wishes. This can mean they pass to someone you hadn’t intended – or that someone you want to pass things on to ends up with nothing.
